Bayern Munich comfortably
defeated Manchester City 2-0 in the
Champions League on Tuesday
night, but all things related to the
match
were completely overshadowed by
the furore surrounding Carlos
Tevez.
The controversial Argentine was
involved in a dugout disagreement
with
manager Roberto Mancini and
some of his team-mates in the
second half.
To most observers, Tevez's non-
appearance was surprising
considering
the situation of the match and the
player's status of being the main
attacker on the substitutes' bench.
Afterwards, a distraught Mancini
told TV cameras and then his post-
match press conference that his
striker had refused to enter the
field of play despite being told to
warm-up and come on as a sub.
The Italian said that as a result of
the
snub, he wanted the former West
Ham and Manchester United player
out
of the club and that he was finished
as a City player. Tevez,
afterward said through his
interpreter that he was not in his
right
frame of mind to play.
Also, three time European
Champion Souness said '' Tevez is a
disgrace to football.
Is he going to stay ideal for th rest
of the season, if really
Roberto Mancini meant what he
said?
